This is a simple way to Disable Auto update of application in Android phone
1. Open the play store on your phone.
2.Then open the menu by clicking on Top left corner of play store.
3.Now select Settings.
4.Click on Auto Update apps.
5. Now select “Do not Update apps” or you can also select the “Auto Update apps over WI-Fi only”.
